 In 2011, Synchrotech Group created Synchrotech Innovation. This new unit, located in Sion (Switzerland), aims at developing innovative solutions using BI (Business Intelligence) concepts applied to company’s operation centers. Today, the focus is on healthcare, energy and engineering sectors.
Our ZAC project (“Zone à Atmosphère Contrôlée » - cleanroom environment) Synchrotech Innovation worked with a biotech partner (a worldwide leader in the chemical sector) to build a prototype addressing the specific constraints linked to cleanroom environments; especially in terms of air quality control and maintenance process monitoring. The solution was developed using “traditional” BI (Business Intelligence) concepts to determine any potential correlation patterns between maintenance processes, cleanroom activity, people activity, air quality and microbiologic activity. The solution helped our partner to improve its cleaning procedures; to better plan the cleanroom activity and to reduce the time spent collecting, analyzing and investing all the information and data linked to the microbiologic “incidents”. We are still working with our partner to further develop the prototype in order to be compliant with the norms GAMP 5 and 21CFR11. |
